Territory War is a fast paced FPS game built as a callback to shooters past such as Quake, with major inspiration being taken from the Valve game TF2,
Unlike its predecessors and many contemporaries of today, Territory War aims to strike a balance between the fully free for all and battle royal formats of today and the traditional 6 to 12 person team based matches of games like Team Fortress 2 and Marvel Rivals. It does this by having 6 teams on a match at once, all fighting towards the same objective, with 12 to 16 players per each team, for a total of 72 to 96 players per match spread across the 6 different teams.
Like Team Fortress 2, each team consists of 9 distinct classes, and for each team, a unique character will be crafted to fit it in a way that compliments both the class and the team. For instance, the character shown to the right is Imara Nasser, a nile crocodile, and the tank for the Reptile’s team; tank being a class that mechanically sits between the Soldier and the Heavy, for a point of reference.
The gameplay of territory war takes place across 5 different game modes; Capture the Flag, Payload Race, Hybrid Race, King of the Hill, and Territory War. Hybrid Race is a combination of control point and payload race, where each team has to capture a control point and then push a payload to finish and Territory War is an expanded King of the Hill, where there are multiple points that need to be held at once and the team with the most at the end wins.
The world of Territory War takes place in the far future, in roughly the year 3000, in a world that has an overarching organization that has helped the world reach the peak of efficiency that it can, and turned it into a New Eden, where all needs are met for all on the planet. But, with such comes the need for expansion, and that’s where Territory War comes in, as the eponymous war is actually a series of company wide training exercises that all the combatants use to train so as to be ready for anything that thee universe may throw at them
